Chloe Corbett

Harpist

Chloe Corbett is a Sydney-based harpist who began studying the harp at the age of seven under the guidance of Jayne Hockley, and former Principal Harpist of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Louise Johnson. She completed her early studies as part of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Rising Stars program. Chloe attended the Conservatorium High School, receiving training in harp, alto saxophone, composition and musicology. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Music, Harp Performance degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the world-renowned harpist Alice Giles AM.

Chloe was the recipient of the Elise Herrman Scholarship, Sydney Conservatorium of Music Rising Stars Scholarship and the Harps Australia Harp Holiday Scholarship. She has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, appeared in numerous harp eisteddfods with consistent first-place awards, and performs with Sydney-based orchestras. In addition to her orchestral and solo work, Chloe is an in-demand harpist for functions and events.​​​​

Chloe enjoys arranging music across all genres and collaborating with composers to expand the harp’s repertoire. She also has a passion for musicology, focusing on the harp and its technical developments over time.


In addition to her performance career, Chloe is a dedicated harp teacher, mentoring students of all ages and levels, and regularly collaborates with composers and other musicians to expand the harp’s repertoire. Her performances have been featured on ABC Illawarra and Southern Highlands FM 107.1, and she has presented solo recitals such as Sounds From Afar in Bowral and at the Wollongong Art Gallery, showcasing her artistry. She continues to perform a variety of solo recitals and chamber concerts across NSW, bringing her expressive classical harp performances to diverse audiences and venues.

Recognised for her excellence in performance and musicianship, Chloe continues to pursue innovative programming and arrangements, exploring the harp’s role across genres while maintaining a deep focus on classical tradition.​​​​
